Brandaid Website User Agreement


1. Quotes and Estimates

Prices posted on this website are subject to change without notice. A quote is an estimate only and is not binding on Brandaid. If the quoted price is incorrectly stated on the website, or the artwork does not conform to the information on which the original estimates were based, we will notify the Customer prior to commencement of any work. If the Customer rejects the revised cost, Brandaid will issue a full refund to the Customer.

2. Additional Charges

In addition to the fees for its services, Brandaid may charge to the Customer fees, charges and disbursements, including but not limited to (i) fees for any preliminary work performed at the Customer’s request, additional work required to be done as a result of the Customer changing their instructions, performing work based on poor copy, additional work required to be done as a result of corrections made by the Customer, including repaginating or reformatting or the Customer altering style, type or layout used by the Customer, for work required to be done urgently, including overtime costs, changing or correcting (ii) Freight costs and charges for the delivery of goods to the Customer.


3. Payment Terms

All payment must be pre-paid due to the speed of our turnaround, unless prior arrangements have been made. We reserve the right to place a job on hold pending payment clearance.


4. Refusal

Brandaid reserves the right in their own discretion to refuse an order for the printing, reproduction or publication of any material Brandaid deem to be improper or illegal. Brandaid are not liable for any damages resulting from unwitting violation of copyright laws. The Customer guarantees the legal title of all matter submitted to Brandaid for printing and/or publication.


5. Liability

Brandaid will only be liable for the stated price to the customer and will, in no event, be liable for any other damages or lost profits. Brandaid warrants that every product printed or designed by us and/or our suppliers or contractors meets industry standard for such products and is free from material defect in production and quality.


6. Under/Over Supplies

The Customer acknowledges that whilst Brandaid will make every endeavour to produce the exact number of items in the Order, owing to human and/or machine/computer error the number of items actually produced may be 5% over or under the number specified in the Order. Where such a discrepancy occurs Brandaid may adjust the amount charged to the Customer for the Order by a pro rata amount to reflect the actual number of items produced only if the run is short.


7. Intellectual property and Customer Indemnity

Copyright in all artistic and literary works authored by us shall be the property of Brandaid. The Customer: (a) warrants that the Customer has copyright in or a licence to authorise Brandaid to reproduce, all artistic and literary works and other intellectual property supplied by the Customer to Brandaid for the purposes of the Order and the Customer hereby expressly authorizes Brandaid to reproduce all and any of such works and intellectual property for the purposes of filling the Order; and (b) indemnifies Brandaid against all claims, demands, liability, losses, costs and expenses (including legal expenses) suffered or incurred by Brandaid in any way directly or indirectly connected with any breach of copyright, any rights in relation to copyright or of any other intellectual property rights in such literary and artistic works or other material supplied to Brandaid by or on behalf of the Customer.


8. Ancillary materials

Unless Brandaid and the Customer agree otherwise, drawings, sketches, paintings, photographs, designs, typesetting, dummies, models, negatives, positives, blocks, engravings, stencils, dies, plates or cylinders, discs, tapes, compact discs, or other media or data and other material produced by Brandaid and their suppliers and contractors in the course of, or in preparation for performing the Order (whether or not in fact used for the purposes of performing the Order) and all disks, tapes, compact disks or other media (other than media supplied by the Customer) used by Brandaid to store data for the purposes of completing the Order are the property of Brandaid and/or their suppliers.


9. Proofs and variations in colour

Inkjet and laser prints are known to look substantially different than offset printing. Results will vary depending on the output device such as inkjet printers, continuous tone proofing devices and film-based proofs. Brandaid offer a quick turnaround and low prices by printing to a standard ink density. There is no guarantee that your finished piece will match your printed sample. A 10% range in the CMYK colour mix is within Industry standard. On large or colour specific orders, the Customer may request a colour proof that comes with a 100% colour accuracy print result. If Brandaid submits to the Customer a proof that has been approved by the Customer, Brandaid will not be responsible for any errors in printing, artwork or production which appeared in the proof and which were not corrected by the Customer before the Order was completed.


10. Rejection

The Customer may only reject goods if they do not comply with the Customer’s instructions. If the Customer wishes to reject goods, the Customer must notify Brandaid of the rejection: (a) if Brandaid has delivered goods to the Customer’s premises or to the premises of a third party under the instructions of the Customer within 7 days of delivery; (b) within 7 days of notification that goods are ready for collection.


11. Force Majeure

Brandaid will have no liability to the Customer in relation to any loss, damage or expense caused by Brandaid failure to complete the Order or to deliver goods as a result of fire, flood, tempest, earthquake, riot, civil disturbance, theft, crime, strike, lockout, breakdown, war, the inability of Brandaids' normal suppliers to supply necessary materials or any other matter beyond Brandaids' control.


12. Quality Guarantee

We quality inspect all orders before leaving the warehouse and guarantee all workmanship to be free from defects. If any order does not match the generally accepted trade standards, we will reprint the order, issue credit, or process a refund at our discretion.
