Die Cutting

Die cuts may be used within a card to cut images such as logos or outside to create a unique shape. The process requires a specially made die. A die is a specialized tool used to cut or shape material using a press. Like molds, dies are generally customized to the item they are used to create. The mold then fits into a cutting machine that will cut out the shapes.
